Biography:

Franky, real name Cutty Flam, is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates in the anime and manga series One Piece. He is a cyborg and his dream is to create and travel on a ship capable of conquering any sea.

Franky first appeared in the manga in Chapter 322 and in the anime in Episode 229. He was initially an antagonist, the leader of the Franky Family, a group of ship dismantlers and bounty hunters.

After the events of the Water 7 arc, and at the request of Iceburg, Franky eventually joins the Straw Hats, using his skills to construct the Thousand Sunny, their new ship.
